This is our 12th formal meeting since the creation of the S.D.S. in 1998 but our 17th congress since the existence of our movement dating from 1987. The official existence of the institution increases the visibility of the art of dry stone building and of its various actors; it ensures the durability of the congresses; it allows the implementation and the follow-up of ambitious projects, including the recent inscription of the art in the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (ICP) with UNESCO.
The General Assembly is the decision-making body of the institution. It is therefore essential for the development and continuation of the networking and meetings. We look forward to seeing you in person or online on Saturday 2 October in Konavle from 8.30 a.m. with the following program:
- Activity report
- Financial report
- Renewal of the Board of Directors
- Proposals and decision for the date and venue of the next international congress
- Report on the activities of the international ICH group to be submitted to UNESCO for evaluation.
